What is WINGS PTSO?

WINGS PTSO is the Parent, Teacher, Student Organizations for the School of Arts and Sciences at The Centre. WINGS stands for Working-to-Inspire-and-Nurture-Generations-for-Success. We support school administration, staff and students. We help promote student self-esteem, raise overall morale, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and funding.

What is the PTSO and who can be a Member?

Are you a father, mother, protector, guardian, a person who teaches or instructs at SASC or a student in 4th grade or above? If you answered YES, then we would like to invite you to become a member.  Our membership year runs from July 1st through June 30th of the following year.

PTSO Programs & Fundraising

Our primary objective as a PTSO is to provide our school with support, funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every child and to benefit the school. To meet this important objective, we fundraise. Here are a few programs that we sponsor and/or support: Phoenix Playdates, Class Playdates, Fall Dance, Phun Run, Scholastic Book Fairs, Spring Carnival, Teacher Appreciation, Field Day, Conscious Discipline Training, Mini Grants for all classrooms and various other fundraisers throughout the year.

Become a Volunteer.... Why YOU should get involved!

We are a small and busy group, and we can always use more help!  Many hands make light work!  Here at SASC, we strive to grow our school family and what better way than to become involved. We are seeking volunteers to continue re-establishing the organization. We plan exciting and fun events and WINGS PTSO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own.
