Lunch FUndraising Program
Tuesday/Thursday Lunches: 1,324 lunches sold and $1,051 raised!
Pizza Fridays: 1,111 pizzas sold and $3,843 raised!
Smoothie Days: 391 smoothies sold (including 79 donated to staff) and $782 raised!
Classroom Mini Grants
The Lunch Program funds our Mini Grant program, which enables teachers for each classroom, special area and elective, and support area to purchase supplies for their classrooms. This year we funded 32 Mini Grants totaling $5,400!
School Community Events
- Back to School Splash at Wakulla Springs
- Science Night with hands on experiments and fun things to explore and learn!
- Movie Night where we joined forces with SAST's PTSA for a movie night with both SASC and SAST on the lawn, with free popcorn and hot chocolate!
- Book Fair Community Night, where school families shopped the book fair with their scholars, completed a scavenger hunt, and more!
- Art Uprising, where the school showcased scholars' art, Middle School Scholars volunteered and did demonstrations, and students had fun at interactive art stations!
- End-of-the-Year Bingo Party at Hangar 38!
- SASC Nature Club Annual End of the Year Event at Jackson Blue Springs (all school families were invited)!

- Donuts and coffee on teacher planning days
- Stocked the teacher and staff lounge with snacks and drinks twice during the year (at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters)
- Teacher Meeting Meals to feed the Safekeepers at staff meetings
- Pizza and snacks for other long days (e.g., Kindergarten orientation)
- A Gratitude Lunch from Bonefish in November
- Hot chocolate bar on the last day before winter break
- Monthly birthday cakes
- Celebrated birthdays for all teachers and staff
- A five-day Safekeeper Appreciation Week in May
- Ice cream for the last day of school
- Annual spirit wear t-shirt for each staff member (including EDP), and a legacy spirit wear t-shirt for all new staff
- Purchased a mobile scaffolding platform so that Safekeepers can decorate for showcases without going up and down a ladder
Student Support
- Provided popcorn for movie day before winter break
- Provided ice cream on the last day of school
- Organized volunteers for Field Days
- Coordinated volunteers and food for the 5th Grade Celebration Breakfast at the end of the year
- Volunteered at the 8th Grade Graduation
Nature Club

- Wild Melody Equestrian Center
- Cleanup Day at Tom Brown Park
- Day on the Farm at Tallahassee Museum

Phun Run
- Together we exceeded our goal and raised $6,585!!
- With these funds, the school was able to purchase TWO water fountains/bottle fillers (one in the K/1 area and one by the clinic).
- They were installed in March. Over 600 plastic bottles have been saved so far!
Book Fair
- 770 total books sold!
- Earned $7,600 Scholastic Dollars for our school!
- Almost 100 new books were donated to our school!
Spring Carnival
We had so much fun at Spring Carnival, which included bounce houses, a teacher relay, dunk tank, carnival games, and more while raising funds for teacher training! Funds raised at the Spring Carnival will send at least 3 Safekeepers to Conscious Discipline Summer Training!
Elementary Fall Dance
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, K — We had lift-off! We loved seeing the students have an out of this world dance! Funds raised from this event paid for the buses for Field Day in the Spring!
Middle SChool Spring Dance
Tickets for the Middle School dance were sold by the school and funded the bus for the 8th Grade end-of-the-year trip! WINGS PTSO paid for the DJ and helped with volunteers!

We are thrilled to share that we earned $16,364.52, which will go towards Scholastic dollars. These funds directly benefit the school and our beautiful kiddos!
Thanks to your support, we were able to get almost 100 books into the hands of our teachers through the teacher wish list shopping!
Thank you to everyone who donated to Share the Fair! Our goal was to get a free book in the hands of every student who qualifies for Free/Reduced Lunch. Thanks to you, we were able to meet our goal!

Popcorn & Hot Chocolate on December 19!
On December 19, WINGS PTSO provided complimentary fresh-popped popcorn for scholars and their Safekeepers so that they could enjoy popcorn during their movies!
We also treated Safekeepers to a Hot Chocolate Bar in the teacher lounge!

Elementary Fall Dance!
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, K — We had lift-off! DJ Dance from Revolutionary Expressions spun out-of-this-world tunes! Thank you to everyone who came to the Fall Dance and boogied! Our Elementary Fall Dance raised money to pay for buses for Field Day in the Spring. A huge thanks to our AMAZING Fall Dance Committee and Volunteers!!
Science Night & Culver's share night
Thank you to our Science Night Committee members for helping to put on an awesome science night! We had so much fun!
7th Annual Phun Run!
- The Phoenix Phun Run is our fall fundraiser. Families raise money through donations for the students, and then we all have fun participating and connecting as a school family in the Phun Run!
- Last year, we raised funds for special area and electives programs, and we were able to purchase a pottery kiln for Art, speakers for Drama, and more!
- This year, our goal was to raise $6,000 to offset the cost of purchasing and installing a water fountain / bottle filling station for the elementary school! This will allow students to refill their water bottles during the school day with cool and refreshing filtered water.
- We reached our goal - THANK YOU!!!

What is a Share Night or Share Event? A Share Night or Event is a fundraising event organized by a non-profit and hosted by a local vendor. During these events, vendors donate a percentage of their sales to the non-profit based on purchases made by customers who mention the organization or during the specified event time.
We aim to offer a variety of Share Nights and Events throughout the year, featuring fast food restaurants, sit-down restaurants, and unique experiences like Skate World.
